DESCRIPTION:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in Gajim, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks and
compromise a user's system.
1) An input sanitisation error in the "get_last_conversation_lines()"
function in common/logger.py can be exploited to inject arbitrary SQL
queries via a specially crafted jid (Jabber ID).
2) An input sanitisation error in the "exec_command()" function in
common/helpers.py can be exploited to inject arbitrary commands via
specially crafted messages.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 0.15.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 0.15.
