DESCRIPTION:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in Cisco Unified
Communications Manager, which can be exploited by malicious people to
cause a DoS (Denial of Service) and conduct SQL injection attacks.
1) An error when handling incoming SCCP messages can be exploited to
reload a device by sending a specially crafted SCCP message.
2) Input passed via a SCCP message is not properly sanitised before
being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL
queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Please see the vendor's advisory for a list for affected products.
SOLUTION:
Update to a fixed version.
