DESCRIPTION:
A weakness and two vulnerabilities have been reported in Bugzilla,
which can be exploited by malicious users to bypass certain security
restrictions and conduct script insertion attacks and by malicious
people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

1) An error due to the "User.offer_account_by_email" method not
properly checking the "user_can_create_account" value before sending
account creation emails can be exploited to create a new user
account.

2) Input passed to e.g. the "label0" parameter in chart.cgi (when
"debug" is set to "1") is not properly sanitised before being
returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML
and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected
site.

3) Certain input passed to report.cgi when changing the Real Name is
not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to
insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a
user's browser session in context of an affected site when the
malicious data is being viewed.

Please see the vendor's advisory for a list of affected versions.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 3.4.13, 3.6.7, 4.0.3, or to version 4.2 when
available.

PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY:
Reported by the following people in a bug report:
1) Frédéric Buclin
2) RedTeam Pentesting
