DESCRIPTION:
A security issue has been reported in LightDM, which can be exploited
by malicious, local users to perform certain actions with escalated

The security issue is caused due to LightDM handling the "~/.dmrc"

via symlink attacks.

The vulnerability is reported in version 1.0.6. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Restrict access to trusted users only.

PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY:
