DESCRIPTION:
Stefan Schurtz has discovered two vulnerabilities in Tiki Wiki
CMS/Groupware, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct
cross-site scripting attacks.
1) Input appended to the URL to e.g. tiki-pagehistory.php is not
properly sanitised in lib/smarty_tiki/function.query.php before being
returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML
and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected
site.
2) Input appended to the URL to tiki-admin_system.php is not properly
sanitised in templates/tiki-admin_system.tpl before being returned to
the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script
code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in versions 6.4 and 7.2. Other
versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Upgrade to version 8.1.
