DESCRIPTION:
Luigi Auriemma has discovered a vulnerability in MetaServer RT, which
can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an error when processing certain
packets and can be exploited to cause a crash via a specially crafted
packet sent to TCP port 2194.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 3.2.1.450. Other versions
may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Restrict access to trusted hosts only.
