DESCRIPTION:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in TANDBERG C Series
Endpoints, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct
script insertion attacks and cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

1) Input passed as the Call ID when calling another endpoint is not
properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to insert
arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed on an affected
device when the malicious data is being viewed.

2) An error in the tshell application can be exploited to dereference
an invalid memory address via overly long strings passed via the
"location" parameter to the getXML script.

The vulnerabilities are reported in version 4.1.2 and prior.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 4.2.0, which fixes vulnerability #2. Filter
malicious characters and character sequences using a proxy.
