DESCRIPTION:
Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in the Hotblocks module
for Drupal, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct
script insertion attacks and by malicious people to conduct
cross-site request forgery attacks and bypass certain security
restrictions.

1) The application's web interface allows users to perform certain
actions via HTTP requests without performing any validity checks to
verify the requests. This can be exploited to perform unspecified
actions by tricking a logged in user into visiting a malicious web
site.

2) Certain unspecified input is not properly sanitised before being
used. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code,
which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an
affected site when the malicious data is being viewed.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires the
"administer hotblocks" permission.

3) An unspecified error exists when handling access permissions. No
further information is currently available.

The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 6.x-1.6.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 6.x-1.6
