DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Cisco Unified Communications
Manager, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS
(Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the Packet Capture
Service not properly timing out or closing idle TCP connections. This
can be exploited to restart the application by opening multiple
connections.
Successful exploitation requires the Packet Capture Service to be
enabled (enabled by default).
SOLUTION:
Disable the Packet Capture Service in the Cisco Unified
Communications Manager Administration Interface by setting the
service parameter to False.
