DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in ffmpeg, which can be exploited
by malicious people to potentially compromise an application using
the library.
The vulnerability is caused due to a signedness error within the

processing specially crafted Chinese AVS (CAVS) files, which can be
exploited to cause a memory corruption by tricking a user into
opening specially crafted CAVS files.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to versions 0.7.3 and
0.8.2.
SOLUTION:
