DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Apple iOS, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct spoofing attacks.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error when validating the
"basicConstraints" parameter of certificates in the certificate
chain. This can be exploited to spoof certificates of arbitrary
domains and disclose encrypted information e.g. using a
Man-in-the-Middle (MitM) attack.

SOLUTION:
Apply iOS 4.2.10 Software Update for iPhone 4 (CDMA model) or iOS
4.3.5 Software Update for iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 (GSM), iPod touch
(3rd generation) and later, and iPad.
