DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in EMC Documentum eRoom, which can
be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the
HummingBird Client Connector (ftserver.exe) within the Indexing
Server. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow
via a specially crafted packet sent to an unspecified TCP port.
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 7.4.3.f.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 7.4.3.f.
