DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in XnView, which can be exploited
by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to the application loading an
executable file in an insecure manner and can be exploited by
tricking a user into e.g. using the "Open containing folder" feature
on files located on a remote WebDAV or SMB share.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 1.98.1.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.98.1.
