DESCRIPTION:
Multiple vulnerabilities have been discovered in WeBid, which can be
exploited by malicious users to conduct SQL injection attacks and by
malicious people to disclose sensitive information, conduct SQL
injection attacks, and compromise a vulnerable system.
1) Input passed via the "auction_id" parameter to feedback.php is not
properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be
exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
2) Input passed via the "WEBID_RM_ID" cookie to logout.php is not
properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be
exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
3) Input passed via the "WEBID_ONLINE" cookie to user_login.php is
not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be
exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
4) Input passed via the "lan" parameter and "USERLANGUAGE" cookie to
e.g. index.php is not properly verified in includes/messages.inc.php
before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include
arbitrary files from local resources via directory traversal attacks
and URL-encoded NULL bytes.
5) Input passed via the "from" and "to" POST parameters to
converter.php is not properly sanitised before being stored in
includes/currencies.php. This can be exploited to inject and execute
arbitrary PHP code.
Successful exploitation of vulnerabilities #2-5 requires that
"magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.0.2. Other versions
may also be affected.
