DESCRIPTION:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in IBM Tivoli Storage Manager
Client, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain
escalated privileges.
1) An error in the Journal Based Backup (JBB) function can be
exploited to cause a buffer overflow and may allow execution of
arbitrary code with escalated privileges.
2) An error in the Alternate Data Streams (ADS) processing
functionality can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow and may
allow execution of arbitrary code with escalated privileges.
This vulnerability affects Windows clients only.
