DESCRIPTION:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in TORQUE Resource Manager,
which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated
privileges.
1) A boundary error within src/server/req_quejob.c when processing
job names can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow via an overly
long string passed as a job name.
2) A boundary error within src/lib/Libnet/get_hostaddr.c when
processing host names can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow via
an overly long string passed as a host name.
The vulnerabilities are reported in versions prior to 2.4.14.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 2.4.14.
