DESCRIPTION:
Pouya Daneshmand has reported a security issue in DirectAdmin, which
can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain access to
sensitive information.
The security issue is caused due to MySQL database backup files being
created in the world-readable "mysql_backups" folder. This can be
exploited to disclose MySQL database backup content.
Successful exploitation requires CustomBuild being used to update the
MySQL database and "mysql_backup" set to "yes".
The security issue is reported in versions prior to 1.38.1.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.38.1.
