DESCRIPTION:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in Videcon Viola DVR
VIO-4/1000, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose
sensitive information.
Input passed via the "FILEFAIL" parameter to cgi-bin/wappwd and the
"FILECAMERA" parameter to cgi-bin/wapopen is not properly verified
before being used to read files. This can be exploited to read
arbitrary files from local resources via directory traversal
sequences.
SOLUTION:
Restrict access to trusted hosts only.
PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY:
QSecure and Demetris Papapetrou.
