DESCRIPTION:
A security issue has been reported in PolicyKit, which can be
exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges.
The security issue is caused due to a race condition when determining
the privileges of the parent process, which can be exploited to gain
escalated privileges by e.g. invoking a suid root application from
the parent process.
The security issue is reported in version 0.101. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Fixed in the GIT repository.
