DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Avaya Communication Server 1000,
which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an integer underflow error when
handling a certain size value in incoming requests and can be
exploited to crash the device via a specially crafted request sent to
UDP port 5100.
The vulnerability is reported in version 5.5. Other versions may also
be affected.
SOLUTION:
Upgrade to version 6.0 or later.
