Summary:  


In certain circumstances, RSA® Authentication Agent for Web for IIS protection can be bypassed due to a fail open flaw in the agent.



Details:


Due to a fail open flaw in the agent code, websites that are protected by the RSA® Authentication Agent for Web for IIS could be left unprotected when the agent crashes.

The following products contain the resolution to this issue:

•RSA® Authentication Agent 7.1.2 for Web for Internet Information Services


RSA strongly recommends all customers upgrade to this version at the earliest opportunity.
